Friday Favorites, vol. 8

I don’t know about you guys, but it has been one of those weeks that I thought would never end. Not in a bad way at all, but I just kept thinking “tomorrow is Friday, right?”

I started out the week getting completely hooked on Big Little Lies after seeing it all over every form of social media and figuring it must be good. Not only was it good, I would argue it is one of the best series I’ve ever seen on television. We ended up finishing the 7 episodes in 3 days and I’m so sad it’s over! Have you watched it yet?

The beginning of the week was work per usual, but got progressively more fun starting on Wednesday when I taught a double yoga flow + yoga sculpt class at my studio with my friend Sarah. I typically teach anywhere from 5-10 yoga classes a week and it’s always so fun to switch it up and do something different from time to time! Sarah and I will be co-leading a 200-hour yoga teacher training program this summer together and we have a lot of other fun events coming up that I will most definitely share in case you live in the area and want to come flow with me!

Last night, I headed to a Pineapple DC event (recap coming tomorrow!) celebrating the launch of Lily Kunin‘s new cookbook, Good Clean Food. It was so much fun (and delicious) and the best part was that I got to hang out with a few girlfriends I hadn’t seen in a while.

After the event, I met up with Blair to go see the one and only John Mayer in concert. Most of my friends and family know that I am obsessed with him and I think Blair purposefully didn’t buy us floor seats because he knows that I would have probably tried to run up on stage if I were too close. (not joking about being obsessed with him) Anyways, the concert was incredible, though I stayed up way past my bedtime and am paying the price for it today — I think an afternoon nap is definitely in order.

Blair is playing in a golf tournament all weekend so I am trying to decide if I should make a quick trip to Philly to visit one of my best friends that just moved there on Monday or take it easy at home instead….I think it will be a last minute decision tomorrow morning either way.

Trying out a new restaurant this weekend that has lots of plant-based options and looks incredible.

My favorite brand of chocolate just announced a new product: keto cups! …waiting for my package to arrive any day now so that I can test them out.

Have you guys heard of L-theanine? After reading this article I’m dying to try it alongside my daily magnesium routine.

We are trying to finalize a couple of trips for this summer, and I loved reading where all of the “wellness girls” are heading. Dying to head to Tulum one of these years!

I’m itching to re-organize my pantry (again!) after seeing this blog post. Cooking is just so much more enjoyable when your space is clean and tidy, right?
